An Ode to Carolyn

I have recently moved into my new home and because I am sharing a bathroom, I need to cart my stuff back and forth (instead of just leaving it there).

Last night I met my unexpected six-legged roommate in the bathroom -- a rather large and surprisingly quick roach!

So this morning, in addition to my regular bathroom effects,

Thank you Carolyn, I can't imagine living in this particular house without this utility. I brought 5 changes of batteries with me since I anticipate using this quite often. 

I actually did not work up the nerve to use my electrified badminton racket/bug zapper on the roach in the bathroom last night, just because it was so ridiculously large and quick that I worried greatly as to how it would react. Like David in 1 Samuel, I was rather hesitant to go into battle with weapons that I hadn't personally tried in battle... :P but I have resolved to kill something substantial with it tonight (something outside! There's no end of options) so that I can see how it performs... stay tuned.
